A strange, almost haunting voice
counts callously down: 9, 8
am I late for something?
At 7 I'm sure there is no way back
The coachman is gone
and my palms are getting wet
6, 5 I catch a glimpse of the other side
in the mist of those sounds.

A traffic sound and the screaming alarm
from underneath the door I can hear a cry
And number 4 illuminates my mind
with a simple tune.
